About the Erie Irish
Introducing Erie's premiere girls travel basketball club. The objective of the Erie Irish is to create an all-school inclusive organization that teaches elite skill development and concepts in a progressive manner for girls grades 4-12. The Irish will implement comprehensive programs that will help all of our athletes, from the beginning players to our elite national level players.
Along with advanced skill development, all age groups will focus on the values of hard work, accountability, team play, competitiveness and sportsmanship, helping each athlete to become the best player and person they can be.

The Erie Irish coaches will teach the drills, techniques, and basketball acumen that will help players excel at the grade school, high school, and collegiate levels. With over 100 years combined coaching experience the staff is passionate about the advancement of girls basketball in the Erie area. Again, this will be an all-school inclusive program.
About Coach Chuzie
Coach Doug Chuzie is excited to announce the formation of the Erie Irish AAU program. He is eager to share his 20+ years of coaching experience to advance the level of girls basketball in the area. Coach Chuzie has taught the game to every age group from grade school, to high school, to the national AAU circuit. He will use his extensive basketball experience to provide organizational leadership and oversee the basketball philosophy taught at all levels.
To date, Coach Chuzie has coached over 55 players who have gone on to play college basketball. He and the Irish staff look forward to working with each player to help them reach their full potential.
